Hinges
Met Therm’s AG210 metal windows are fitted with traditional fully working welded hinges and peg stays as standard.
This provides the traditional features so often required to achieve an authentic match in period and conservation replacements and renovations. We also offer sliding stays to maintain period features of original windows.
- Welded hinges

Glass and glazing
Our slimline windows retain the maximum amount of glass in all windows.
This means you get elegant sightlines and a better view. Our thermally broken frames are glazed using 24mm double-glazed argon-filled units and the latest thermally efficient glass.

Thermally broken metal windows
Traditionally, the frames of older metal windows let more heat escape and more cold filter in. All of our A+10 rated metal windows are thermally broken.
This means our windows make use of a thermal break which acts as a barrier to prevent heat escaping and cold coming in. Thermal breaks also have the additional benefit of making your windows more soundproof.

What our clients think

“Our new windows have made a huge difference to the warmth and energy efficiency of the house; and aesthetically, it is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted the windows to look like the originals, and they do. In fact, we’ve had visitors who haven’t even realised we have had them changed – a perfect validation that Met Therm Windows was the right choice.”
Michael and Christine
1920’s home

“They were really quick and there was no disruption at all. The internal door took the longest and they did brilliantly with the windows because the houses around here are so old and the walls aren’t straight. But they made everything fit perfectly and the overall look is brilliant.”
“The quality of their work is amazing. The installers did such a good job, and they were so clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble.”
Janet
Victorian mid-terrace

“The process of working with Met Therm was brilliant – and easy. They came out equipped with samples, did a site survey and took measurements off plan. They were also really helpful as they gave some great recommendations when it came to deciding how many openings to have.”
“Because we were both replacing windows and installing windows into a new build there were definite deadlines which had to be met, such as getting the property watertight. Met Therm happily liaised with our builder and pulled out all the stops to ensure this happened.”
